Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre is celebrating Mumbai Street Food Festival from September 17th – 26th, at The Square. During the festival, many famous dishes belonging to the street food of Mumbai, will be available. A group of chefs arriving from Mumbai are experts in preparing authentic street food and chaat dishes. Some of the authentic dishes include – Vada Pav, Pani Puri, different types of Sandwiches, Bhel Puri, Ragada Pattice, Bhajias, Parathas, Kothimbir Vadas, Ganna Juice, Zunka Bhakar, Thali Pet and many more. During the festival, the hotel is having a contest where the guests could win a complimentary weekend stay package at Novotel Juhu, Mumbai.
According to the Food and Beverage Director – Hemant Tenneti, – ‘Hyderabadis enjoy to relish spicy cuisines and Monsoon is the best time to experience the street food as the spicy nature of the dishes go well with this season. Every street dish made during this festival is authentic, prepared under a 5-star ambience. Various live counters dedicated to every single street dish under the canopies, is one of highlights for the festival.
Apart from the famous dishes mentioned above, some of the other dishes included in the menu are – Pav Bhaaji, Pindi chole batura, Kheema Pav, Bheja Fry, Franky Rolls and Lifafas, Panki and Chilla, Burji Pavs, Mirchi Vadas, Khichia Papads, Makhai Bhutta, Imarti and Tawa gulab jamoon with 10 flavors of Sharbats (Lime juice) and 5 flavors of Tea. The ambience is built to recreate the culture of the city as well as to make it look like typical street food locations of Mumbai with Desi and Bollywood music as a background. There will also be a live Pani puri counter at the lobby’.
